hi

does anyone know if it is posssble only to lower the front of the cc?

my felgen are 16" and i think the car looks as it is a 4x4 if you only look at the front part where as the behind seems harmonic.

maddin has lowered the front of her cc with 3,5 centimeter and that looks ok, but how does it affekt the wind turbulens inside the car when you drive with the top down?

Hi
I lowered my cc s front about 45mm.The rear has been left original. Here (http://people.freenet.de/realniceguy2k/CCtestpage.htm) you can take a look at the result. I use the Peugeot-Windstop when I drive open and it s no problem, even without the windstop.

Well lets see if I ve learned it the right way....

Lowering the car evenly creates an oversteer
Lowering the back creates an oversteer
And lowering the front creates an understeer.

Just to know an understeer is easier to control then an oversteer
:teufel:

This is just to know it should be oké to lower the front (more then the back).

Gings in diesem Thread nicht um zunehmende Turbulenzen im Inneraum bei offener Fahrt durch eine Tieferlegung der Front ??

hi all

thanks so much for the help!

how much did you pay to get the front lowered?

I think, I ve paid round about 250€

But to get the CC more stabilized, you should install the metallrod
in your engine compartment, that realy will bring a big gain !!!

Have a look here, that is, what we all are actually discussing in the moment most !

Hi @,

If I understood it right there are no effects with regards to turbulence when lowering the car only in the front...

There is definitly a difference in behaviour (understeer) when only lowering the front...

And than another thing is that I believe somebody ones told me that the cc is already equiped with some sort of adjustable suspensions at the back but not at the front, any comments???

Finally, what,s the advise when lowering the car; to change only the suspension or to also change the schock absorbers?
